WESSCO International is a top supplier of on-board and in-room service products to the global airline and hotel industries. Headquartered in Los Angeles, with offices in Asia, Europe and N. America, we collaborate with world-class brand houses in luxury (e.g. Ferragamo, Hermes, Bvlgari), and cosmetics (e.g. La Prairie, Clarins, Kiehl’s) to design, develop, and deliver a wide range of amenities and comfort products for customers around the world.
We are currently seeking a senior product designer to join our Asia regional headquarters.

Responsibilities:
• Support our design team to create branded products for global travel industry in collaboration with world-class brand houses in luxury (e.g. Ferragamo, Hermes, Bvlgari), cosmetics (e.g. LaPrairie, Clarins, Kiehl’s), and designer (e.g.Philippe Starck).
• Collaborate with our design team to create collateral materials (presentations, proposals, etc) for sales & marketing support.

Required skills:
• English: fluent or native level
• Product and/or accessory/bag design (with degree in product design/fashion design) showing work experience in:
○ Vector illustration (Adobe Illustrator or equivalent)
○ Raster imaging (Adobe Photoshop or equivalent)
○ Desktop Publishing: basic page layouts and preparing documents for print (Adobe Indesign or equivalent)
○ Freehand illustration and sketching ability
○ 3D modeling (Rhino, CAD, Sketchup or equivalent) **desirable but not required
Desired qualities:
• Knowledge of top brands for luxury, fashion and cosmetics
• An eye for color and material combination
• Awareness of trends in international design (fashion, interiors, product design, styles, colors, etc)
• A positive, “can-do” attitude: determination to overcome obstacles and find solutions to problems
• A strong work ethic, ability to work independently, but also teamwork-oriented
• Rigorous attention to details (dates, measurements, sizes, colors, words/spelling, formatting)
• Ability to execute instructions thoroughly
